General Principles of Revenue Enhancement

This handbook was developed for as a guide for revenue collection and allocation of County Governments in Kenya. It looks specifically at Local Revenues, outlines the general principles to abide by to maximise them. It further outlines the principles of revenue collection that will enable the County Governments to provide services to its constituents. The objective of this publication is to highlight how to improve operations in public finance management.
