SDG 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Education is a fundamental right to each and everyone in society. With publishing, Epsilon Publishers pushes for literacy and literacy programmes with each and every publication that we do.
In a broader sense, as we aim to provide positive social impact to the community, every publication our hands run across sends the same message. In nurturing the publication, curating content, and with printing, our clients’ work fosters the 4th SDG as it provides learning for all.
Empowering: In creating any type of publication, each and every person who gets the opportunity to read the material gets equal footing when it comes to empowerment. Some of the publications we have managed to put out through our clients have taught people about their rights and duties, which is key to strengthening the community. Furthermore, obtaining knowledge boosts confidence, self-awareness and develops one’s intellectually.
Upskilling and reskilling: We encourage our team to upskill with all the unique skills that they currently possess. In alignment with SDG 4, this helps to provide deepened learning and diversification in the workforce.
Creating new markets and new opportunities for growth: Different departments exist in the publishing world. From the Managerial position, the operations manager, designer, editorial and the marketing team. Upholding SGD4, we ensure that these positions are upheld highly to foster growth.

Women’s participation in the labour force as part of SDG 8 is one key issue that we embrace in order to encourage diversity and inclusion.
Adopting new technology: With the onset of new technologies and systems of communication to reach a wider market, we have adopted the digital way too in communicating to our growing audience and clients. Technology has helped us to have a voice on social media as an entity, create online magazines and even E-newsletters for our clients.
Foster economic activity though value chain: To enable us to initiate SDG 8, we tailor-make the whole publishing process from the customer service to the final product. We ensure quality and professionalism in our work with an analysis of each phase of the publication, this not only makes the customer happy but also aids in improving economic activity.
Target 8:3 of SDG 8 encourages the formalisation and growth of medium-sized and micro-small enterprises. As a medium-sized company, we are part of building our way onto even levels through more developed productive activities.
